Welcome to Ketchikan, Alaska’s 2005 Media Kit

The Ketchikan Visitors Bureau (KVB) was established in 1976 to promote the area as a cruise destination. Ketchikan has since emerged as a major port stop on the Alaska cruise ship itinerary. Today, the Bureau continues to provide support services for the cruise industry while placing its emphasis on developing the independent as well as meeting the conventions markets in Ketchikan.
